A visit to the precinct accompanied by GRLs and Representatives from Agencies.
The Minister (PMO) had a chat with one of the stall holders. Business was good, I sold quite alot of books, she said.
The Minister (PMO) addressed the residents and thanked them for participating in the upgrading programs.
We had a good durian party with the Minister (PMO) and residents, said the GRLs. Durians were good

Here's to the wonderful team effort by everyone, from Texan's RC, to the fellow grassroots leaders' support, to the dedication of the photographers, to the presence of the various agencies, and last but not least, to the delightful mentees who took charge of so many things, including emceeing.
ReplyDeleteThe residents I spoke to were appreciative not just of the interim upgrading and new lifts but also of the wonderful fiesta like atmosphere on Sunday 17 May.
Of course, bringing in the durians was brillant - hopefully those who don't like durians happily settled for mangosteens and other fruits.
The flea market appeared to have been popular -let's review and make the next one even better. For something that had a rather tight timeline, this demonstrated what strong camaraderie can do. So, well done Serangoon and keep it up!
